The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation is auctioning 2 pairs of Red and Black Passes on eBay. (Auction started December 19th)
What is a Red & Black Pass?
These special passes provide the bearer not only free admission to Anime Expo® 2008, they are also escorted first into the exhibit hall and all ticketed events, provided premier seating at all ticked events, and more. “Ticketed events” would include any concerts, the Masquerade, and the Music Video contest. Red & Black Pass bearers will be provided custom badges as well. Each of these “golden tickets” are valued at over $1,000.00 U.S. each.
The proceeds of one pair of tickets will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

The proceeds of the second pair of tickets will be donated to Penny Arcade’s Child’s Play Charity. The winning bidder may designate which hospital receives the funds from the current list of participating hospitals, if they so desire. A list of participating hospitals can be viewed at:
