Chalk Twins coming to Anime Expo to create a large-scale Fate/Zero piece!

| News

Throughout the course of Anime Expo, attendees will be able to watch Lexi and Devon (the Chalk Twins) working on their large-scale Fate/Zero piece. Upon completion, the piece will be available for purchase at the Charity Auction on July 7th.

Sidewalk chalk is a performing art. Devon and Lexi interact with you – answering questions and talking about anime, art – all while the artwork comes alive at their feet. The ladies are self-proclaimed geeks and have found real joy in the characters, story lines and art of anime. They make it a point to watch each of the shows that they create in their drawings. Chalk Twins performance pieces are typically 25 to 100 square feet in size.

Devon and Lexi graduated from Furman University where they both received majors in studio art. They have had the chance to study a breadth of media along with the unique opportunity to study a semester through the University of Georgia program in Cortona, Italy.  In addition to their formal study in art, Devon and Lexi have enjoyed tremendous success as chalk artists. For the past nine years they have been participating in chalk art competitions throughout the East coast where they have been awarded in 14 out of 17 events.
