SPJA is pleased to announce that exhibit space sales for Anime Expo 2014 are 30% ahead of last year at this time, and it will soon sell out of space on its 2014 exhibit floor.
“We are thrilled with the interest in AX 2014. Both attendee registration and exhibit sales are well ahead of last year’s pace, and we appreciate the incredible support that the Anime community has shown for this year’s event,” said Marc Perez, CEO of the SPJA, the parent company of AX. “Additionally, we will be announcing a major Guest of Honor shortly, which will generate even more attendance this year. We are very excited to be so close to a completely sold exhibit floor of what will be an amazing show. We look forward to a great four days with our attendees and Guests of Honor.”

Event highlights announced to date include appearances by Japanese Kawaii Ambassador Kimura U and the first US reunion of the entire English voice cast of Sailor Moon. Other activities at the four-day event include soon to be announced concerts, panels, and cosplay.
AX 2013 hosted 160,000 fans, and attendance is trending to grow by 12% more this year, with hotels also almost completely sold out.
