Yoshiki SakuraiAnime Expo 2014 is excited to welcome scriptwriter/producer, Yoshiki Sakurai!

In addition to Sakurai’s Q&A panel and autograph sessions, Anime Expo 2014 will also showing Giovanni’s Island, the film which marks Sakurai’s debut as a producer.

 

About Yoshiki Sakurai

As a scriptwriter, Sakurai debuted with the best-selling TV series, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. (2003~2005) directed by Kenji Kamiyama. The huge success of the series made him one of the most-watched young scriptwriters in the industry. He served as story supervisor in the TV series Otogi Zoshi (2004) directed by Mizuho Nishikubo, and. co-wrote Annecy-nominated feature film, xxxHOLiC – A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2005). Other credits include, animated feature film Redline (2010 as co-writer) and episodic writer in Appleseed XIII (2011). Giovanni’s Island (2014), which he co-wrote with Shigemichi Sugita.
