This year we have something really big! Anime Expo will be hosting an epic concert event to remember! Featuring the music of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Portal, and more played by a live 70-piece orchestra, and 24 voice choir, the AX Special Edition of rePlay features the works of legendary composers including Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Garry Schyman and more. The AX Special Edition of rePlay: Symphony of Heroes is sure to be an unforgettable, symphonic and visual experience!

Featuring Special Guest Performers

Eru Matsumoto Japanese Cellist, Eru Matsumoto, has been charming audiences around the world since age 6. As a solo artist, Eru’s performances have taken her to major cities including Vienna, Athens, Tokyo, Taipei, Aspen, Los Angeles and New York City. As an avid chamber musician and principal cellist with several orchestras, Eru has performed in such celebrated venues as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. At age 16, Eru was accepted to the Juilliard School under the tutelage of the late David Soyer. As a recording artist, Matsumoto is currently performing a film score under the direction of British Academy Award winner, Jeremy Soule. Her debut record, “Flower,” is scheduled for release in late 2014.






Sonya Belousova

Sonya Belousova is one of today’s youngest most accomplished Composers and Pianists.

Originally from St-Petersburg, Russia, Sonya is the winner of multiple international competitions as both a composer and pianist, as well as the recipient of the Russian Ministry of Culture Award, the most prestigious Russian Award granted on the basis of an exceptional talent and maturity. Sonya has gained a sensational public recognition after her bravura arrangements and performances in the Cosplay Piano Series, released on YouTube by the legendary Stan Lee of Marvel Comics. To date there have been four episodes released that have totaled 1,300,000 views. As a pianist Sonya can also be heard on various soundtracks and records, including “Dexter Season 7″. Currently Sonya is working on a solo piano album composed  and  produced by Jorge Calandrelli - 2 times Oscar nominated, 27 time Grammy nominated, 6 Grammy winning Composer & Producer.

Films with Sonya’s music have been premiered at the most prestigious film festivals all around the world, including Cannes International Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.
