Cerina Vincent grew up performing at the age if 3 in her mother’s ballet studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cerina soon moved from dancing to acting when she began starring in many plays and musicals in both her community and High School. At age 16, Cerina was crowned Miss Nevada Teen USA, and went on to finish in the top 15 at the nationally televised Miss Teen USA pageant. Not loving the term “beauty queen,” but in love with performing, Cerina moved to Los Angeles where her acting career took off at age 18. She showed off both her acting skills and athleticism as Maya, The Yellow Power Ranger in the Fox series, POWER RANGERS LOST GALAXY. She quickly went from a TV super hero to a silver screen sex symbol as “Areola” in NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE. MAXIM, one of the many magazines she has appeared in, wrote, “We have photographed beautiful women all over the world, and Cerina Vincent has the best body, period.” But Cerina is not only recognized for her fit, natural physique. She was nominated for the Saturn award’s “Best Face of the Future” for her outstanding lead performance in Eli Roth’s/ Lions Gate’s horror sensation, CABIN FEVER!
STUFF Magazine continues to label her as one of the “Hottest Women in Horror,” but Cerina is not just known as a “scream queen.” She is getting a ton of attention for her comedic chops! Some of Cerina’s comedy (and body) can be seen in the film JUST ADD WATER, where she played Danny DeVito’s wife and performs alongside stars like Justin Long, and Jonah Hill. Cerina’s face can also be seen along with some of the biggest television stars in her many guest-starring roles on shows such as, CSI, BONES, TWO AND A HALF MEN, GARY UNMARRIED, ALLY MCBEAL, FELICITY, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE just to name a few. Cerina has also starred in a number of television pilots, and as well as being known in the half-hour world for her natural comedic timing, Cerina showed off her comedy and dramatic skills in Queen Latifa’s WIFEY (VH1/BET), and stole the heart of the lead in Darren Star’s MACHILD (SHOWTIME). And speaking of stealing hearts, Cerina starred in the romantic comedy EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE ITALIAN, which hit theatres September 5th, 2008. This is a charming performance where her millions of horror fans can finally see Cerina play a leading girl-next-door role. Cerina has also done a ton of indie horror movies, starred in the action thriller IT WAITS, Warner Bros/Dark Castle’s RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, and showed her edgier, more dramatic side in DARKENED ROOM, a short film created for her and directed by the infamous David Lynch.
Cerina is also working hard as a writer. She co-wrote the best selling witty, sexy, fun anti-diet book HOW TO EAT LIKE A HOT CHICK: Eat what You Love, Love How You Feel. And she is extremely busy with the release of her second book, HOW TO LOVE LIKE A HOT CHICK: The Girlfriend-to-Girlfriend Guide to Getting the Love You Deserve. Cerina, with co-author Jodi Lipper, also write a weekly column for the Huffington Post and have had their sharp and sassy writing published in MAXIM. But Cerina is not just a published author, she has also written several TV Pilots that have gotten attention from some of television’s top producers, and she’s now being marketed as a “scream queen who writes horror movies.” She has co-written various horror screenplays that have been optioned and are waiting for the green light. Cerina is also becoming more and more popular in the tabloid world as well. Her class, sexy wit, and celebrity, expert advice can be seen various times with bff co-author Jodi Lipper on the TODAY show, TYRA BANKS, EXTRA, and GOOD MORNING AMERICA Now. Currently, Cerina is busy traveling on her book tour, and excited about the release of COMPLACENT—an indie drama that is getting rave reviews from top studios, where Cerina’s poignant, breakthrough performance will touch the hearts of America.
