Information and Rules
First and foremost, DEEP SEKH is a team-based game. So grab your best friend/rules lawyer if you want to ensure your victory. Standard games run with two players each running two 2nd-level characters (that's a lot of twos there), for a total of four characters per team and eight characters in total.
Characters will be pre-generated and will be separated in handy-dandy binders by faction.
The four factions, based on alignments (good/evil, law/chaos) are as follows:
* Lawful Good, which has slow, tough characters.
* Lawful Evil, which has tough, manipulative characters.
* Chaotic Good, which has fast, agile characters.
* Chaotic Evil, which has fast, powerful characters.
Each faction is not structured solely based on alignment, but actually has a design philosophy attached to it as well. Each faction is built to cater to a different kind of play style.
Lawful Good characters tend to be the staunch defenders that outlast members of other factions; Lawful Evil characters tend to weaken foes and overwhelm them with wave after wave of sheer numbers; Chaotic Good characters tend to use hit and fade tactics, taking advantage of cover and mobility; Chaotic Evil characters tend to bulldoze their enemies with overpowering strength and speed.

Different types of games, while not set in stone yet, will include:
Most games will feature four players.

* Team Scenario
Each map has a different objective for each team to accomplish... while sabotaging the other team.
* Challenge Match
All the players are pit against a DM-run scenario.
* STORY MODE
Players shape the future in DEEP SEKH by making choices for characters in an evolving storyline.
...
Each game begins with players choosing teams, then factions, then characters. The players do not know what map is going to be used before they select characters.
After characters are chosen, the teams roll against each other. Whoever wins the roll decides whether her team is offense or defense and what time of day the battle takes place. The loser of the roll decides which map is used.
Initiative is rolled each round for each player on both teams. Each player uses the higher initiative modifier of her two characters. She takes the turn for each of her characters on her initiative. Once each player has taken a turn, the round ends and a new initiative is rolled.
In many scenarios, when a player's characters are eliminated, they "respawn" on the map in the same condition they were before the match began, however the other team usually scores points for eliminating the characters, so it is advised that one not get her characters killed off too often.
Play continues until the victory objectives are met. In some cases this may be eliminating the other team, eliminating a key individual, holding a particular territory (or territories) or scoring a certain number of points.
Some matches may have a time limit, possibly 30-60 minutes.
