AX Bag Check will hold on to your props, costumes, loot, backpacks, bags, and other items for you when you enjoy any of the events at Anime Expo.

Pricing

$5.00 for 4 hours, Any Single Item: At AX Bag Check, we will hold on to one item that is 50 lbs or less for 4hours for the price of $5. If the attendee goes over 4 hours, a penalty charge of $5.00 will be applied during check out. If the attendee is later than 8 hours to pick up the item a $15 penalty charge will be applied during check out. If left over night it the penalty charge becomes $20. Basically here’s the run down below:

Specials

$20 – Day Special:

Any size item (up to 50 lbs.*) with unlimited in/out privileges for that day only. Each separate item counts as a new item. To put it simply you may not bring two items and check them in as one. Item must be picked up at the end of the day before bag check closes otherwise appropriate overnight fees will be charged.

$25 – All Con Special:

Any size item (up to 50 lbs.*) with unlimited in/out privileges throughout the convention. Each separate item counts as a new item. To put it simply you may not bring two items and check them in as one. Item must be picked up at the end of the day before bag check closes otherwise appropriate overnight fees will be charged. Simply bring your bag back the next day with the claim ticket attached, and you will not be charged for check-in.

*Any item over the 50 lb. limit will be charged an additional $5.00 for every 10 lbs. over the 50 lb. limit.

Check-in Procedure

1. Bring your item over to the check in cashier.
2. Cashier will assess and charge the appropriate fees.
3. Pay the cashier and receive your claim ticket.
4. Put your name, address, and phone number on the top portion of the claim ticket.
5. Cashier will date stamp your portion of the ticket and take your bag.
6. Enjoy the convention.

In/Out Policy

In/out privileges will be allowed only if the attendee’s portion of the ticket is present. If the attendee’s portion of the ticket is lost, the item will have to be checked back in and the day fee will be charged again if the attendee chooses to keep in/out privileges. Attendees may not use this service to check-out a small item, and then check-in a larger item on the same ticket.

Overnight Fee

Items must be picked up before bag check closes. Any items not picked up at the end of the day will be charged an overnight storage fee. Overnight fee is $10.00 for all items. Items must be picked up by 12:00 pm the next day. If item is not picked up by 12:00pm, said item is considered to be checked in for another day and an additional day fee will be charged. For example: An attendee picks an all day special, the item is checked in on the first day of the convention and not picked up until 4:30 pm the next day. $20.00 for check in fee, $10 for overnight fee, $20.00 check in fee for the 2nd day since the item was picked up after 12:00pm. The same formula is applied to all price tiers.

Lost Claim Tickets

Attendees should have their name on the claim ticket that is attached to the item. Attendees must show proper ID to claim items. A $5 lost ticket fee will be charged to recover your bag since extra time is required to go through to find your bag. We will check your ID and only release the item with the name on the ticket attached to the bag.
