General Info

Do you enjoy tea parties? Do you partake in the fashion culture known as EGL? Are you an Aristocrat?
If you responded yes to any of these questions, then read on! Anime Expo® 2009 invites you to participate in Midnight Tea!
This is a competitive event for enthusiasts of the Lolita/Aristocrat culture. Imagine a life size diorama & costume contest! This event gives the contestants a chance to create and design a themed tea party by decorating tea sets, tables, cushions and most importantly, show craftsmanship at creating a Lolita or Aristocratic themed tea party for exhibition only. No Food or Drink will be served.

Each entry will need to have their own theme, matching costumes, accessories and tea set. For example, an entry can pick a Pokemon theme. That entry will have members wearing Pokemon Lolita costumes and have a Pokemon themed tea set.

This event will be held in the LACC. The exact location and time will be announced. While this event is open to all Anime Expo® 2009 attendees, due to the limited space available, priority will be granted to contestants and their fellow Lolitas/EGL/Aristocrats/EGA costumers.
