Ryo Shirakome is the author of the fantasy-isekai light novel series "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest"! The work was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2013 before being novelized in 2015 and released under the Overlap Bunko imprint. Thanks to its tremendous success, seen in explosive sales and fan popularity, an anime adaptation soon followed. The "Arifureta" anime began airing its first season in 2019, followed by season 2 in 2022. In exciting news, the anime will be returning later this year for its 3rd season!
