Manga Lounge
As managers of a department, it is not an everyday occurrence to see a department reinvent itself to fit the needs of the community. We did just that during Anime Expo 2007 when we changed the name of the department from Manga Library to Manga Café. This year, we go down the same daring path by introducing Manga Lounge. We will keep the best of the department, like our great collection of manga, our passionate fun-loving staff, and our long-running art contest. With the old, we are also introducing the new. We are improving our bag and badge system along with a new room configuration that includes bean bags for maximum comfort. The management will be implementing scientific surveys to get the pulse of the manga community to make future conventions better. We are proud to present to you the fruits of our labor, Manga Lounge for Anime Expo 2010!

Attendee Code of Conduct
- You must check-in your bag and badge. We have the right to refuse if you do not comply.
- If you are caught stealing manga, your badge will be taken away and you will be banned from the convention permanently. You will also be fined 4 times the cost of the manga stolen, and your picture will be taken for archiving purposes.
- You can bring in soft drinks and water, but don’t spill on the manga. You spill you buy.
- Please do not bring in food to the room.
- Please keep your shoes on, because comfort in Manga Lounge is welcome as long as it doesn’t impede on the comfort of others.
- Please return the books at a centralized location. We have thousands of volumes to keep organized, and you make it easier by returning it in the same location.
- You can talk with your friends, but be respectful to the people around you.
- Photography is not allowed unless permission is given from the Department Manager on site.
- Be respectful to the staffers, since they are volunteering to make your convention experience an enjoyable one. Treat the staff the way you would like to be treated.
Learn the rules and make sure that they are followed
