Experience Japan’s vibrant street food culture as Figueroa Street is fully closed off and transformed into a bustling festival for its third consecutive year! 40+ vendors come together to share the rich flavors of Japan through lively, sensory-filled experiences packed with delicious aromas, colorful stalls, and nonstop food exploration. The food line up includes a variety of savory to sweet and everything in between! Whether you’re looking for something warm and hearty or light and refreshing, AX CROSSING offers something for every craving and every mood.
In addition to traditional street food favorites, AX CROSSING also features exclusive anime collaboration items you won’t find anywhere else. These limited-edition offerings combine Japan’s world-famous food culture with its iconic pop culture, creating a fun and memorable experience for fans of all ages.

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s food festival is the AX CROSSING Special Menu. Every vendor, including all food trucks, will offer a special item priced under $10. We invite our attendees to explore, taste, and enjoy without limits, all at accessible prices. Take part in the Japanese mochi-pounding demonstration held twice a day during AX 2026. Mochi pounding is a time-honored Japanese practice where steamed rice is transformed into soft, chewy rice cakes. You can participate, watch up close, and enjoy an interactive presentation that brings history and food together in a fun and engaging way.
