3D Printed Face Shield Resources

Volpin Props has utilized 3D printing to create over 220 face shields, which they've been able to distribute to hospitals and healthcare providers through Masks for Docs. The process involves 3D printing approved plastic frames for the visors and laser cutting PETG sheeting for the face shields. These face shields assist in preventing droplets and airborne SARS-CoV-2 from entering eyes, a known source of transmission.

For those who have their own 3D printers at home, we encourage you to utilize the designs below to support healthcare providers and help prevent shortages in necessary personal protective equipment.
