At Shojo Beat’s LP2 panel, they announced the releases of series such as “Komomo Confiserie” on the first of September, “Honey So Sweet” on the first of December, and others whose release dates have not yet been announced, including “Shuriken and Pleats” by Matsuri Hina, creator of “Vampire Knight”.
  1. Sunrise and Bandai Namco announce “LoveLive! The School Idol Movie” will have its theatrical release at select movie theaters all over the U.S. and will have a Los Angeles release at Downtown Independent on 9/12/15.
  1. “ClassicaLoid,” a new story about Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Schubert, and others in the modern world with musical powers (of course one of the powers is giant robots, right?) will be aired in 2016 by NHK on Educational TV.
  1. Sunrise and Bandai Namco also announced a BRAND NEW GUNDAM SERIES that will be released 7/14/15 @ 8pm PST. Live streaming on official website: g-tekketsu.com.
  1. Crunchyroll announced at their industry panel that “Yu-Gi-Oh GX”, subtitled, will be available on August 1st. New simulcasts will also be available, such as “The Perfect Insider” in October; “To Love Ru Darkness 2” on Wednesday, July 8 at 1 PM; and “Monster Musume Everyday Life With Monster Girls” on Tuesday, July 7 at 9:30 AM.
  1. Production I.G. announced season 2 of Attack on Titan will air in 2016.
  2. At the Digital Influencers panel in LP3, Alexander Gross, Erin Lee, Brooke Lawson, and Miles Jai talked about their favorite things and their first anime. Did you know the Suritama anime made her cry?
  3. The Cool Japan Festival brought together two distinct parts of the Japanese music industry with a joint show with vocaloid IA’s first ever US performance and Wagakki Band bringing a new genre of music to the attendees at Club Nokia.
  4. Viz announced releases for Ranma ½, Sailor Moon, Death Note, K Project, and the popular One Punch Man manga being turned into an anime.
  5. At Funimation’s Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Panel, announcements were made for an upcoming video game, a “Golden Frieza” Pop Figure, singings with cast members tomorrow, a promotional event at their booth in the Exhibit Hall, and announced future screenings and promotions that will take place after AX.
