Rodney Uhler is Director of Acquisitions and Development at GKIDS, where he has spent over 8 years managing international film acquisitions, strategy, and partnerships. His previous producer credits include the English versions of acclaimed anime films including The Boy and the Heron, Mirai, Promare, and more. He also serves as Director of Programming for the annual Animation is Film festival which is produced in partnership by GKIDS, Variety, and The Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Rodney is also a freelance culture and film writer, with bylines in GQ, Indiewire, and more.
