Jay played Division 1 college basketball at Pepperdine University for 5 years. During his tenure as a student-athlete, Jay progressed from a walk-on athlete to a full-ride scholarship player by his senior year where he emerged as a leader, assuming the position of team captain for his last year. Jay aspires to be a living testament for aspiring athletes, particularly those of Asian American descent. He wants his journey to be a beacon of inspiration, showcasing that with dedication, perseverance, and a relentless spirit, barriers can be overcome, and true potential can be realized.
