After graduating from university, Honoka Kato worked at A-1 Pictures before joining CloverWorks. She served as the production management for many hit shows including Ace Attorney, GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation, and PERSONA5 the Animation, in addition to being involved in the setting production for Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fine, Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid. She is also involved in the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus.

Honoka Kato has also worked on the screenplay for SPYxFAMILY, UniteUp!, Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.
