We are a J-rock and Anime band in the Bay Area. Our band was inspired by a shared love for anime music and culture, and our name, Project Idol, reflects our beginnings—the Yoasobi song Idol, which brought us together. As we grew, Ave Mujica became another anthem that resonated with us, reinforcing our shared passion for anime music. We perform under the concept of a “masquerade” as a way to strip away individual identities and present ourselves as equals, allowing the focus to be solely on the music. We are hoping to share the joy of these songs with audiences at AX.
