After working as an animator on numerous projects at Toei Animation, OLM, and Ajiado, he transitioned to directing in the early 2000s. He made his directorial debut with “Charlotte” and went on to direct titles such as “Fate/Apocrypha” and “The Day I Became a God”. His work “Buddy Daddies” won the Best Original Anime Award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024.
