Driver Check‐In Step by Step Instructions:
1. Driver arrives at 2045 E Washington Blvd.
2. At check‐in the driver presents bill of lading (BOL) with Booth#, Exhibitor name, etc. along with certified truck scale weight tickets if available and Shepard supervisor will create receiving reports.
3. Upon checking in, the driver will receive the driver’s number and be directed to the internal marshalling area or docks as space permits. If marshalled, drivers must wait in their truck until dispatched.
4. Shepard supervisor directs driver to proceed to assigned dock area where driver is given specific dock # to back into.
5. Driver presents paperwork to Shepard supervisor and is unloaded, gets their DR signed and leaves facility.
Exhibitors may use any of the following entrances:
An Exhibitor badge permits access into South Hall, Kentia Hall, and West Hall/Entertainment Hall during show days and must be worn throughout the duration of the event, July 3 – July 6, 2025.
Exhibitors will be issued two (2) access codes via their Map Your Show (MYS) account based on their approved badge allotments to register their badges.
Each additional paid badge is $101.60, plus all associated transaction fees.
The deadline to register Exhibitor badges is May 30, 2025.
Badges registered on or before May 16, 2025 are mailed to exhibitors with U.S. or Canadian shipping addresses. After this date, badges must be picked up onsite at the Exhibitor Registration Counter.
Badges will not be shipped outside the U.S. or Canada. International companies may provide an alternate shipping address during check out when registering their badges if they wish to mail badges to a U.S. or Canadian-based office. Exhibitors with shipping addresses outside of these two countries must pick up onsite, starting Day -1 (July 1, 2025).
Badges must be picked up onsite for exhibitors located outside of the U.S. and Canada, as well as for exhibitors who registered after the May 16, 2025, shipping deadline. Individual badge pick-up is not permitted. Only the primary registration contact or either of the two (2) alternate contacts (listed in your MYS account or provided during checkout when registering your badges) for each company will be responsible for picking up and distributing badges to their personnel.
All badges are prepared by company name and available for pick-up at the Registration Booth located on Chick Hearn Court near the Los Angeles Convention Center. Registration will be open from Day -1 (Tuesday, July 1, 2025) through Day 4 (Sunday, July 6, 2025).
Exhibitors and/or exhibitor staff wishing to enter the facility for move-in or move-out must wear their exhibitor badge or obtain a temporary wristband at the entrance of the building or loading docks. You may be asked for ID, Company, and booth number. Temporary wristbands are
valid ONLY during move-in and move-out, not during official exhibit/convention hours.
Parking is available at the Los Angeles Convention Center, LA LIVE, and nearby, privately operated lots. Parking at private lots may cost an estimated $10-$30 per day, depending on the distance to the convention center.

Dock Access During Show Days
THE SOUTH HALL DOCK WILL ONLY BE ACCESSIBLE IN THE MORNINGS ON SHOW DAYS FROM 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
Items will need to be offloaded or hand carried by exhibitors. Onsite accessible storage is also available to order through Shepard Exposition Services for an additional cost.
South Hall Priority Entrance
Exhibitors can enter the building as early as 7:00 AM through the Exhibitor Priority Entrance located at the back of Hall K.

General Exhibitor Move-In Hours
Applies to exhibitors who are NOT in the Red, Blue, or Purple Groups.
Step 2: Directions To South Hall Dock

Step 3: South Hall Exhibitor Check-In Line
1. Locate the designated check-in area for the South Hall. Look for signage or ask event staff for directions.
2. Join the check-in line and patiently wait in your vehicle, a team member will come to your vehicle and issue you a Dock Access Pass.
3. During the check-in process, provide your booth number and company legal name/display name.
Remember to only arrive at your designated time. Arriving early may cause longer wait times and disrupt the load-in process for others.
Step 4: Unloading
Material Handling/Drayage is complimentary and no additional cost to exhibitors.
For Personal Owned Vehicles:
1. After receiving the Dock Access Pass, you will be granted access to go up the ramp and be directed to the POV unloading area. During loading, leave your emergency lights on to signal to others that you will not be leaving the car unattended.
2. The Teamster will drop off a pallet or bin by your vehicle. Begin unloading the items as soon as possible.
3. When you’re done, flag down a Teamster so they can transport the items to your booth.
4. Immediately after unloading all items, exit the dock to make room for others.
For Semi-Trucks/Freight Carriers
1. Present your Dock Access Pass and follow instructions to be assigned a dock door.
2. Teamsters will unload the trucks and transport the items to the designated booth.
Step 5: Complete Booth Set-Up
All exhibitors must complete booth set-up by 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
All freight must be in booth(s) and out of the aisles no later than this time. This includes the removal of all pallets and trash from exhibitor booths and the aisles.

Shepard Service Center
The Shepard Service Center is located in the back of South Hall. Shepard Customer Service Representatives will be available at the following times during the load-in, show, and load-out.

Exhibitor Move-Out Hours
Artist Alley may open early to the GENERAL PUBLIC at the discretion of the Fire Marshal. Artists must be show-ready by 8:00 AM.
Set-up must be completed by 9:00 PM on Day 0 or your table assignment may be forfeited. Artist Alley participants must leave Kentia Hall by 7:00 PM on Days 1-3. Loitering is prohibited and will be grounds for eviction. Breakdown must be completed by 5:00 PM on Day 4.
Artist Alley participants (Artists and Helpers) can enter Kentia Hall as early as 7:00 AM on show days through the Kentia Hall Priority Entrance or through any other Priority Entrance with Artist Alley credentials.

Step 2: Documentation to Bring
Please have the following information ready to provide:
1. A valid government-issued ID
2. Your Artist Alley Name
3. Your Table Number
Reminder: Artist Alley badges must always be worn and must be activated prior to entering the building.
Step 3: Arriving at the Convention Center for Load In
Artists will unload at Kentia Dock. The South Hall parking lot will also be accessible.
Parking in LACC Garage
The closest parking lots to Kentia Hall are in South Hall & Venice Parking Garage.
If parking in Lot A or D of South Hall, you may enter through the Exhibitor Entrance or through the General Lobby Entrance.
Step 4: Finding Your Table
Use the signage to find your table location. All tables will have their number listed. If support is needed, visit Kentia Hall HQ or reach out to a volunteer staff member wearing a purple vest.
Step 5: Complete Table Set-Up
All artists must complete table set-up by 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Artist Alley HQ
Artist Alley HQ is located in the Show Offices at the front of Kentia Hall, between the restrooms and entrance to Parking CD.
Artist Alley Volunteer Staff
Anime Expo volunteers wearing purple vests will be present in Artist Alley to keep an eye out for general safety and assistance. They can assist with troubleshooting or direct you to the appropriate parties if needed. In case of incidents such as harassment, conflict, theft, copyright infringement, or plagiarism, please notify Artist Alley staff immediately.
Anime Expo will ship Artist Alley badges in early June for all Artists who purchased by the May 31, 2025 registration deadline within the United States (excluding minor outlying territories and islands) and Canada. The last day to update your shipping address is May 16, 2025. You can update the shipping address in your ShowClix account or by emailing artistalley@anime-expo.org.
International Artists must pick up badges onsite. Artists must pick up all badge orders for their table space. Helpers will not be allowed to pick up on an Artist’s behalf. Upon arrival, you must present your registration confirmation email and a valid government-issued photo ID. This should match the Buyer or the Registrant’s name/information to pick up your badge(s).
California Seller’s Permit
Without a California Seller’s Permit, you will be unable to conduct sales in Artist Alley. The permit is free and easy to obtain. You may apply for a California Seller’s Permit online, by mail, or in person at one of the Board of Equalization field offices.
All Artists must keep a physical or digital copy of their California Seller’s Permit at their table. All table participants, including Helpers, must know the location of and be able to access the Seller’s Permit if requested.
Move-Out Procedure
Artist Alley participants must complete breakdown by 5:00 PM on Day 4. Loitering is prohibited.
