Marshalling Yard Information

All show site deliveries MUST report to the Marshaling Yard first before getting dispatched to the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Drivers will be re-directed to the Marshaling Yard if they arrive at show site without checking in at the Marshaling Yard first.

Building Entry

Exhibitors may use any of the following entrances:

    • Exhibitor entrances
    • Priority entrances
    • General Attendee entrances

Exhibitor Badges

An Exhibitor badge permits access into South Hall, Kentia Hall, and West Hall during show days and must be worn throughout the duration of the event, July 2 – July 5, 2026.

 

Badge Registration

Exhibitors will be issued two (2) access codes via their Map Your Show (MYS) account based on their approved badge allotments to register their badges.

Each additional paid badge is $101.60, plus all associated transaction fees.

The deadline to register Exhibitor badges is May 29, 2026.

 

Badge Mailing

Register your exhibitor badges by May 15, 2026 to have your order shipped. After this date, badges must be picked up onsite at the Professional Registration Counter.

Badge mailing is ONLY available in the U.S. and Canada. International exhibitors must pick up their badges onsite, starting on Day -1 (June 30, 2026) unless they choose to ship their badges to a U.S. or Canadian address.

 

Onsite Pickup

Badges must be picked up onsite for exhibitors located outside of the U.S. and Canada, as well as for exhibitors who registered after the shipping deadline. Individual badge pick-up is not permitted. Only the primary registration contact or either of the two (2) alternate contacts (listed in your MYS account or provided during checkout when registering your badges) for each company will be responsible for picking up and distributing badges to their personnel.

All badges are prepared by company name and available for pick-up at the Registration Booth. Registration will be open from Day -1 (Tuesday, June 30, 2026) through Day 4 (Sunday, July 5, 2026).

Exhibitor Set-Up/Teardown Wristbands

Exhibitors and/or exhibitor staff wishing to enter the facility for move-in or move-out must wear their exhibitor badge or obtain a temporary wristband at the entrance of the building or loading docks. You may be asked for ID, company name, and booth number. Temporary wristbands are valid ONLY during move-in and move-out, not during official exhibit/convention hours.

 

Parking

Parking is available at the Los Angeles Convention Center, LA LIVE, and nearby, privately operated lots. Parking at private lots may cost an estimated $10-$30 per day, depending on the distance to the convention center.

South Hall

South Hall Show Hours

ATTENTION!

South Hall may open early to the GENERAL PUBLIC at the discretion of the Fire Marshal. Exhibitors, including booth staff, must be show-ready by 8:00 AM.

Dock Access During Show Days

THE SOUTH HALL DOCK WILL ONLY BE ACCESSIBLE IN THE MORNING ON SHOW DAYS FROM 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM.

Due to ongoing construction at the LACC, dock access will be limited. Items will need to be offloaded or hand carried by exhibitors. Onsite accessible storage is also available to order through ExhibitorPro.

 

South Hall Priority Entrance

Exhibitors can enter the building as early as 7:00 AM through the Exhibitor Priority Entrance.

 

Exhibitor Load In

Step 1: Review Target Move-In Floor Plan

Review the designated date and time for your booth on the Target Move-In Floor Plan provided by SPJA and Shepard Exposition Services. Please note: it is CRITICAL to arrive during your designated time to ensure a smooth load-in experience. Arriving before your designated arrival time may result in longer wait times.

General Exhibitor Move-In Hours

Step 2: Check in at the Marshaling Yard

All show site deliveries MUST report to the Marshaling Yard first before getting dispatched to the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Drivers will be re-directed to the Marshaling Yard if they arrive at the LACC or the staging area on Figueroa St. without checking in at the Marshaling Yard first.

Step 3: Check in with Shepard at Figueroa St.

After checking in at the Marshaling Yard, drivers will be directed to check in at the Shepard staging and dispatch point on Figueroa St. From there, vehicles will be dispatched to the LACC based on dock capacity and the Targeted Move-In schedule.

Step 4: Unloading

Material Handling/Drayage is complimentary and no additional cost to exhibitors.

For Personal Owned Vehicles:

  1. After receiving the Dock Access Pass, you will be granted access to the dock and be directed to the POV unloading area.
  2. During loading, leave your emergency lights on to signal to others that you will not be leaving the car unattended.
  3. The Teamster will drop off a pallet or bin by your vehicle. Begin unloading the items as soon as possible.
  4. When you’re done, flag down a Teamster so they can transport the items to your booth.
  5. Immediately after unloading all items, exit the dock to make room for others.

 

For Semi-Trucks/Freight Carriers:

  1. Present your Dock Access Pass and follow instructions to be assigned a dock door.
  2. Teamsters will unload the trucks and transport the items to the designated booth.

 

Step 5: Complete Booth Set-Up

All exhibitors must complete booth set-up by 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

All freight must be in booth(s) and out of the aisles no later than this time. This includes the removal of all pallets and trash from exhibitor booths and the aisles.

Restocking During Show Days

During show dates, we understand that exhibitors may need to restock products or merchandise. For this reason, we will be offering several options that will allow exhibitors to conveniently replenish their inventory.

  • Option 1*: From July 2 through July 5, exhibitors operating vehicles no larger than Sprinter vans will have dedicated access to the South Hall and West Hall docks between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
  • Option 2*: Exhibitors may park in LACC or nearby garages and carry merchandise directly to their booths before and during show hours.
  • Option 3: Accessible onsite storage will be available for purchase. Storage can be ordered through ExhibitorPro or by contacting orders@shepardes.com. (limited availability)

The Shepard Service Center is located in the back of South Hall, by the loading docks. Shepard Customer Service Representatives will be available during move-in, show dates, and move-out.

Anime Expo volunteers wearing green vests will be present in Exhibit Hall to keep an eye out for general safety and assistance. They can assist with troubleshooting or direct you to the appropriate parties if needed. In case of incidents such as harassment, conflict, theft, copyright infringement, or plagiarism, please notify Exhibit Hall staff immediately.

Artist Alley

Artist Alley Show Hours

Artist Alley may open early to the GENERAL PUBLIC at the discretion of the Fire Marshal. Artists and Helpers must be show-ready by 8:00 AM.

 

Artist Alley Set-Up and Breakdown Hours

Set-up must be completed by 8:00 PM on Day 0 or your table assignment may be forfeited. Artist Alley participants must leave Kentia Hall by 7:00 PM on Days 1-3. Loitering is prohibited. Breakdown must be completed by 6:00 PM on Day 4.

Move-In Procedure

Step 1: Review the Target Move-In Floor Plan

Review the designated date and time for your table on the Target Move-In floor plan provided by SPJA and Shepard Exposition Services. Please arrive during your designated timeframe. Arriving early may cause longer wait times and disrupt the load-in process for others.

 

Step 2: Gather All Necessary Documentation

Please have the following items ready before arriving on site:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • Your activated Artist Alley badge(s)*
  • A digital or printed copy of your California Seller’s Permit

*Artist Alley badges must be activated prior to arriving on site. If you are an international participant or did not have your badge(s) shipped to you, temporary wristbands will be available to use during move-in days only.

After July 1 (Day 0), an Artist Alley badge will be required to enter the venue. You can pick up your badge(s) at the Professional Registration Counter starting on June 30 at 4:00 PM. Have your ShowClix/Leap order confirmation on hand to help expedite the process.

Reminder: Artist Alley badges must always be worn and must be activated prior to entering the building.

 

Step 3: Arrive at the LA Convention Center

Due to our expanded campus and ongoing construction at the Los Angeles Convention Center, certain surrounding streets are no longer accessible. Please plan accordingly.

  • Figueroa St (between Pico Blvd and Chick Hearn Ct)
  • Pico Blvd (between Figueroa St and L.A. Live Way)

 

Step 4: Park and Unload from South Hall Garage

Park in the South Hall garage and hand-carry your materials directly to your table. You are welcome to bring your own wagon or suitcase to transport your items from the parking garage to the hall.

Step 4 [OPTIONAL]: Unload from Kentia Hall Docks

If dock access is necessary to unload your materials, you MUST first check in at the Marshaling Yard and obtain a dock pass. Vehicles that attempt to enter the docks without a dock pass will be redirected to the Marshaling Yard.

Once dispatched from the Marshaling Yard, you will proceed to an additional checkpoint outside the LA Convention Center, located at the intersection of Pico Blvd and Figueroa St. Shepard Exposition Services staff will be on site to assist with rerouting you to the next available dock. 30 minutes are allotted per vehicle to unload at the docks.

 

Step 5: Find Your Table and Complete Set-Up

Use the aisle signs in Kentia Hall to locate your table. All tables will have signs with display names and table numbers placed on them.

All Artist Alley participants must complete set-up by 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1 (Day 0).

 

Artist Alley HQ

Artist Alley HQ is in the show offices at the front of Kentia Hall, located between the restrooms and entrance to parking lots C and D.

 

Artist Alley Volunteer Staff

Anime Expo volunteers wearing purple vests will be present in Artist Alley to keep an eye out for general safety and assistance. They can assist with troubleshooting or direct you to the appropriate parties if needed. In case of incidents such as harassment, conflict, theft, copyright infringement, or plagiarism, please notify Artist Alley staff immediately.

 

Badge Pickup

Anime Expo will ship Artist Alley badges in early June for all Artists who purchased by the May 29, 2026 registration deadline within the United States (excluding minor outlying territories and islands) and Canada. The last day to update your shipping address is May 15, 2026. You can update the shipping address in your ShowClix account or by emailing artistalley@anime-expo.org.

International Artists must pick up badges onsite at the Registration Booth. Artists must pick up all badge orders for their table space. Helpers will not be allowed to pick up on an Artist’s behalf. Upon arrival, you must present your registration confirmation email and a valid government-issued photo ID. This should match the Buyer or the Registrant’s name/information to pick up your badge(s).

 

California Seller’s Permit

Without a California Seller’s Permit, you will be unable to conduct sales in Artist Alley. The permit is free and easy to obtain. You may apply for a California Seller’s Permit online, by mail, or in person at one of the Board of Equalization field offices.

All Artists must keep a physical or digital copy of their California Seller’s Permit at their table. All table participants, including Helpers, must know the location of and be able to access the Seller’s Permit if requested.

 

Move-Out Procedure

Artist Alley participants must complete breakdown by 6:00 PM on Day 4. Loitering is prohibited.

West Hall
