    Host an Industry Autograph Session

    Hosting an Industry Autograph session is a great opportunity for voice actors, content creators, and other members of the industry to connect with their fans at Anime Expo. Talent for Industry Autograph sessions can be supported by a company host or apply on their own.

    To be considered for an Industry Autograph session at Anime Expo, you must meet the following participation requirements:

    • Must be a creator and/or trade professional across anime and/or Japanese pop culture industry.
    • Submit all requested marketing assets by the appropriate deadlines.

    Anime Expo will do the following for all Industry Appearances:

    • Include the Industry Appearance's photo, bio, name, and URL on the website and mobile app.
    • Include the talent’s photo and name in the Industry Appearance section of the program guide.
    • Announcement of the talent on AX social media, website, and email newsletter.

    Industry Autographs Sessions and FAQ

    Are you a voice actor, artist, or other professional in the industry who is hoping to connect with your community at Anime Expo? Industry Autograph sessions will take place at the JW Marriott's autograph area. Industry Autograph Talent can request the number of sessions and times that work best for them.

    Additional information will be provided upon confirmation.

    If you do not receive a response regarding your application before the end of May, you have not been selected to move forward.

    Autograph sessions must finish promptly at the end of their allotted time. Industry Autograph Sessions: Talent can sell items (i.e., autographs, merch, etc.) during their session subject to prior written approval from the SPJA.

    • Talent must provide their own staff to manage the autograph session.
    • Anime Expo will have security in the area to manage the lines during autograph sessions.
    • A California Seller's Permit will be required upon approval.
    • Internet will not be provided.

    Please note that Industry Autographs is a separate area from Guest Autographs. This application does not apply to Guests.

    What is the difference between Industry Appearances and Guests?

    Participation by Industry Appearances is supported primarily by a company host. As such, activities such as panels and autograph sessions are coordinated by the company host and not Anime Expo. For attendees, the biggest difference is that Industry Appearances’ autograph sessions procedures vary greatly. They are all subject to the respective individual, management, and/or company host.
