ALKEMI is a cinematic, genre-bending EDM duo that transforms raw emotion into sonic energy. Founded by Michael Aguirre (DJ/producer) and Andrew Pang (electric violinist/producer), the project bridges the worlds of underground bass culture and classical performance. ALKEMI is more than a name—it’s a nod to alchemy itself, representing the fusion of two distinct musical lineages: Michael’s roots in hip-hop and club production, and Andrew’s classical training on violin. Together, they co-produce every track, building immersive soundscapes that are both explosive and deeply emotional.

Every ALKEMI live set is a visceral experience—featuring live electric violin solos that soar over melodic bass drops, trap breakdowns, and progressive trance builds. Andrew performs with a custom-lit violin bow that becomes a visual centerpiece, slicing through smoke and strobes as it pulses in sync with the music. Their performances blend high-impact DJ energy with cinematic storytelling, taking crowds on a journey across genres like melodic bass, trap, progressive house, trance, and drum & bass.

Since forming in 2021, ALKEMI has cultivated a growing presence in the EDM scene for their emotionally charged production, genre-fluid sets, and powerful visuals.
