After decades of watching more anime than anyone reasonably should and flipping between creative hobbies, frettiko stumbled into writing. She won the grand prize for the MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed Writing Contest 2025 – THE ISEKAI presented by Kadokawa, with her novel “Isekai’d with My Dog, I’m Not the Hero?!”, and counts this as becoming a professional anime fan. She also discusses and reviews anime and manga on YouTube (frettiko), travels a lot, and hangs out with her dogs.
