Being active for 10 years, LA’s 33 Strings is a local Japanese ensemble that showcases various music with Japanese instruments: koto (13 string), bass koto (17 string), and shamisen (3 string). Under the tutelage of Kozue Matsumoto, the ensemble members have a passion for learning traditional and contemporary Japanese music, arts, and culture and sharing them in the community.
