Satoshi Arima, current editor-in-chief of KADOKAWA's MF BOOKS, has worked as an editor of numerous light novel and manga titles, including major anime hits such as "Full Metal Panic!" and "The Rising of the Shield Hero”. He also launched the "Global UGC Publishing Project Team".
After building a career editing manga, Satoshi Arima joined KADOKAWA in 2013, where he started his career as a light novel editor under the Fantasia Bunko label. Popular titles he has worked on include “Amagi Brilliant Park”, “Pompo: The Cinéphile” and “Only Sense Online”. As the current editor-in-chief of the MF BOOKS editorial department, in 2025 he launched the “Global UGC Publishing Project”, an outreach to foreign writers aiming to create new hits in both the Japanese and global markets.
