Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old by May 1 of the year you wish to volunteer. All volunteers must be 18 before beginning any volunteer work or training. (i.e., To volunteer for Anime Expo 2030, you must be at least 18 years old by May 1, 2030.)
• Must have a minimum of 40-hour commitment scheduled (may include pre-con, at-con, and post-con hours).
• Must be available for all Anime Expo show dates. Some departments may require earlier onsite arrival.
• Complete the following:
  • Volunteer Onboarding Forms
  • Initiate a Background Screening
  • Complete required Youth Protection Policy (YPP) courses
  • Complete volunteer department-specific training and requirements
