Anime Expo® welcomes all members of the media interested in attending our 2022 in-person event. Complimentary badges may be provided to members of the press intending to cover Anime Expo via digital, print and/or broadcast media. The criteria for approval remains unchanged to prior events, but the application process is now separate from the Industry Badge.
Applications are reviewed individually in the order that they are received. Decisions are final and at SPJA’s sole discretion.
How to Apply:
- Submit an application.
- Submitted applications are subject to review by SPJA, please allow 2-3 weeks for a response. If you have not heard back from us, please email us at press@anime-expo.org.
- Each applicant will receive notification as to whether or not their application was approved. SPJA may also request additional information to help complete the review process.
- Upon approval, you will be provided with a unique URL link to redeem your Press badge via ShowClix.
Please be sure to fill out the application as much as possible to ensure a smooth review process and improve the likelihood of getting approved for a Press badge. Press badges are not eligible for mailing and must be picked up on-site by each applicant.
