Starting in 2017, attendees will be able to start enjoying Anime Expo activities earlier than ever before at the newly-introduced Pre-Show Night! Pre-Show Night will feature programming and events from 6PM – 2AM on Friday, June 30, 2017. Pre-Show Night passes are available now!
Hours of operation for the areas and events that will be available during Pre-Show Night is as follows:
- AMV Theatre: 6 PM – 10 PM
- Enjoy a collection of themed AMV-related programming.
- AXDance: 6 PM – 2 AM
- Dance the night away with special guest DJ’s.
- Entertainment Hall: 6 PM – 10 PM
- Access Photo Sets, eGaming, Arcade, and all interactive experiences within this hall.
- Karaoke Open Mic: 6 PM – 2 AM
- Choose from over 7,000 anime, J-rock, J-pop, and video game related songs.
- Lounge 21: 6 PM – 2 AM
- Join us for the AX 2017 Kick-Off Party!
- Manga Lounge: 6 PM – 10 PM
- Sit back, relax, and choose from over 4000 titles.
- Petree Hall: 6 PM – 10 PM

- Premier Fan Lounge:
- Premier Fans can pick up their swag bags and enjoy the various amenities such as: Anime Streaming, Complimentary Wi-Fi, and Charging stations
- Note: Beverages will not be available on this day.
- Quiet Room: 6 PM – 10 PM
- Screening Rooms: 6 PM – 12 AM

- Workshop & Live Programming Rooms: 6 PM – 10PM

Additionally, Pre-Show Night will feature a concert at Microsoft Theatre (show time and performers TBA), as well as performances at the Maid, Butler, and Night Cafes (show times TBD). These events will require an additional ticket.
